SweetFrog Adds Tasty Hershey Treats to Toppings Bar
sweetFrog Enterprises, named by The Daily Meal as America’s Best Frozen Yogurt, has recently introduced two Hershey favorites to its famous toppings bar – Take 5 and Crushed Jolly Rancher pieces.
Pat Galleher, sweetFrog Enterprises CEO, says these two flavors are perfect for the end of summer and early fall.
“Our customers are raving about the Take 5 and Crushed Jolly Rancher toppings,” said Galleher. “We introduced Crushed Jolly Rancher first because the tangy topping proved to be an excellent addition to summer frozen yogurt flavors like cotton candy and strawberry lemonade. Now we’re introducing Take 5 pieces closer to fall as they are an ideal fit with graham cracker and pumpkin – some of our best-selling fall flavors. We are excited about these two topping offerings because we believe they truly highlight our willingness to innovate as a brand and deliver new, bold flavors for our loyal customers.”
The Crushed Jolly Rancher topping, introduced earlier this summer, is a crunchy blend of all jolly rancher flavors, including original flavors such as grape, apple and watermelon. The Take 5 topping, introduced in late August, is a collection of bite-sized chunks of the candy bar comprised of pretzels, peanut butter, peanuts and caramel wrapped in milk chocolate.
According to sweetFrog Enterprises CMO, Matt Smith, sweetFrog generated considerable buzz and interest for both toppings by including them in their most recent fan-focused promotions.
“Each month, we ask our fans to help us name a brand new frozen yogurt swirl creation via a social media contest,” said Smith. “In August, we highlighted a cotton candy/strawberry lemonade swirl topped with crushed jolly rancher and whipped cream. And this month, we’re highlighting a graham cracker/pumpkin swirl topped with take 5 pieces and whipped cream. Our fans have loved both of these creations and have submitted dozens of creative names to label what we hope become two fan favorite frozen yogurt swirls.”
